This is an action shot as we took our sled down one of our favorite hills...it snowed the most perfect, powdery snow starting from about 1:45pm to about 10:30 am on Christmas Day.

Christmas Eve festivities

First, I should mention we are having a lovely white Christmas. :)


We had a day full of fun activites for Christmas Eve! The day began with an outing to Walgreens (we sickies can't seem to stay away) but after naps (ha!) we headed off to the 2 p.m. service at jacob's well, then home to the following:

Putting out the Reindeer Food they made in preschool




Preparing a plate of Cookies for Santa


And, er, ahem. :) Almost finished just waiting on Santa to finish up one more special thing! ;)

Sick Boy on Sunday

Freddie threw up Thursday night and about 3ish times on Friday. Sammy started puking overnight Friday, he didn't eat or ralph Saturday, but then ate a small bowl of Goldfish crackers before bed on Sunday night and barfed them within a few hours.

He also slept until 1 p.m. on Sunday, anywhere and everywhere, poor sick kid. Here he is sleeping on the couch just before he woke up.

Just now to the Mailman who was at our door...

"At the Museum I dressed up like you."

They have an Our World exhibit at the Museum, and if you'll remember a few months back I posted pictures of Sammy in mailman attire delivering mail. It's one of his favorite things to do at MCM. That and drive the city bus. So, the above statement is true. :)

Arthur, Caillou and Emma are some of his favorite subjects.







It's unfortunate - Sammy's recently become very fond of Emma. He's constantly involving her in his play, be it putting sunglasses on her, racing cars toward her, or trying to get her "on the airplane"; he feeds her scraps of whatever he's eating, and he takes care of her, too, by reminding me to feed and water her daily.

I have a BOY

Sammy is such a kid now. And such a boy. I can't get over it. But he's still so sweet that I just want to grab him up and snuggle, squeeze and kiss him, and luckily he's only looking like a stud because he still little boy enough to totally love big hugs from the Mommy Monster.
