Sole playgroupers.

Our Minneapolis playgroup meets on Thursday afternoons. Today we were the only ones there. Guess the bad weather this morning scared away our friends. But my kids had fun in the wading pool.

The trouble with Freddie is

Whenever I tried to load the dishwasher he unloads it. And then I find purple markers where the dirty silverware used to be. So if you come to our house and their are piles of dirty and disgusting dishes, you know why.

Also, I found butter spray in the bathtub today.

And pasta, couscous and the like have been scattered around the kitchen floor more than I can remember. (at least it cooks in boiling water to clean it off, right?)

And, he likes to prank call.

Not sure how this happened, but I tried to get a pic of Sammy and me. He was uncooperative and this is the outcome. I think it's kinda cool.

He is a love but SUCH a turkey.

Splash!

This afternoon Sammy filled up the kiddie pools and water table, and the splashing began.


...and wandered off...

It is still so precious to see him toddling!

Freddie LOVES splashing! I tried to get a good picture of him raising his arms up and splashing down. Alas, this is the best I could do. He's a speedy splasher.

Another Tuesday morning adventure with friends.

We met at a wadding pool this morning. My kids, as usual, spent a good amount of time snacking.

4th of July

Was anything but spectacular. We took the boys to Valley Fair, an amusement park south of the Twin Cities. It was a huge bust. There were no lines, it wasn't crowded or too hot, and there are a TON of kiddie rides. Want to guess how many rides we rode?




Look at the trashcan. Proof that we were really there. And rode NO RIDES. grrrrr....

This one didn't mind. He always has a good time.

Nokomis Beach!

We met up with friends at Nokomis Beach today and, unlike last Tuesday, the kids went along with the plans to have fun. Hooray!

I love this picture of Sammy. It looks like he is the only one in the water.


Freddie had loads of fun in the sand. And splashing in the beach. He pretty much loved everything about this morning's adventure.
