I guess it was time but I could just cry. Oh, and we took the boys to Edinborough Park to play this afternoon. Lots of fun!

Mega Blocks tower

While Freddie napped Sammy and I built "the biggest tower ever!"

Memorial Day Fun

We rented this bike at Minnehaha Falls and took it over the RIver. Not sure if this is allowed, but we did it. We had to push it up a few hills along the way. The boys rode in the basket in the front of the bike and had a super time.

Old-fashioned fun.

Photobucket

Post-bath cuteness.

I think Freddie looks very much like young Papa, especially after a bath when his wild hair is flattened on his head. See what y'all think.

Photobucket

Looking so much like his daddy here.
Photobucket

The hair is starting to rise!

And just because he smiled for the camera and because he's such a sweet little boy who looks just like his mama. :) My Sammy

Bear Class End-of-Year Program

Was not what I expected. Not so many photo ops. But the kids thought it was fun. First, Miss Diane read them a story, complete with pictures of the Bears, all about a day in the Bear Room. Each Bear had a picture and a part in the story. Then, we had a continental-type brunch before Miss Michelle started a slide show of the year for the kids. (Sammy really liked this part, he especially enjoyed watching it on the wall. :) Then, the teachers presented each kiddos with his (or her) very own book yearbook of sorts.

Here is a picture of Sammy receiving his.
Photobucket
He loved having Miss Michelle as his teacher this year, and we're very happy to know that Miss Diane is also a Lamb room teacher so she'll be in his room next year, too.

Look at my cool book

After the program we went to the park with Cal and Hannah, their parents and little brothers.

Dipes on the line.

Finally.

I am more excited about my clothesline than you know. Hooray for old-fashioned, greener options!

Sammy's last day of preschool.

Leah volunteered at Sammy's school this morning so she took Cal and Sammy to school and Isaac stayed at home with me and Freddie. While Freddie napped Isaac helped me out in the yard.

And snacked

And when Freddie woke up I put both boys in prefolds and wool soakers. I just loved the fit of these (GMD UB red) prefolds on Isaac!
Photobucket
I love the fit on Freddie, too, but it's so fun to see diapers on a walker. Oh, and Isaac didn't become a squirmy wormy on me either, he just layed there and let me jelly roll fold and snappi a prefold in place. (Note to self, though: Next time pull leg gussets tighter!)

Here they are together. Can you believe Isaac is six months older? He really is bigger, but you can have to see them from a certain angle to really appreciate/see it.
Photobucket

Come here, you! lol, I think Freddie was just using Isaac to stay upright!
Photobucket

Then, I loaded the boys up in the wagon for a walk around the neighborhood before their big brothers came back. It was a fun morning! More pictures to come via Flickr!!

And, yes, I realize I have no pictures of Sammy's last day and that is because there is a Bear Class Program tomorrow morning, which I guess is the truely the last class thing. There will be MANY pictures from that, I assure you! :)

Z-O-O

Did you know that two O's make an "oo" sound? Sammy does!

We went to the Minnesota Zoo for the second Wednesday in a row. Here is the only picture I took.

Monkeys

We watched the noon dolphin show and both boys were enthralled. I tried to get pictures of their faces, but it was too difficult seeing as how they were next to me/in my lap and the place was *packed* So crowded that we were unable to find our friends who were watching the very same show! We missed you Johanssens!

But on the way out we saw Lisa M and Sara Brown and their kiddos, which was pretty funny.

Why I prefer not to share my drink with a one year old.

Sure, it starts off cute enough

but then, eventually there are goldfish in the glass and water everywhere else

Cruising.

Happy Bday to Gabby!

Gabby is Freddie's little friend who was born 19 hours after him. (She was due nearly a week before him!) So, it's it funny that Freddie had his first bday party on Saturday, and Miss Gabby celebrated hers the day after with a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon picnic.

Looks like Gabby's had a haircut. Freddie obviously has not.

Babies in hats. (I don't know those other babies.)

Just because naked toes are so sweet! I've missed them!

Living Green Expo May 5, 2008

Pictures! Finally. (Camera batteries died. They needed to be recharged and it took a while to get 'round to it.)

Sammy's favorite part of the Green Expo was the Alternative Transportation exhibit.

Here he is driving a Mercedes hybrid, or electric. I can't remember. But he liked it.

Ba's new farm truck?

A Smart! Jacob and I loved spotting these when we were in Europe. How fun would it be to see more Smart cars in the US?! Look how tiny! Sammy probably thought it was a Power Wheel, lol!
